About Katsu Tei
Found at the Stonefields area, Katsu Tei is a Japanese restaurant that has become part of the Stonefields dining scene. From the Auckland city centre it is roughly 7.5 km away – worth planning your route before you set off.
The kitchen focuses on Japanese food. Dishes typical of this style include teppanyaki and sashimi, so it is a good pick if those are on your list. It is one of 354 Japanese venues we list in Auckland. The menu also crosses into Asian territory.
Opening hours for Katsu Tei have not been confirmed on our listing yet. As with many Japanese restaurants in New Zealand, trading hours can change with the seasons and public holidays, so we recommend calling ahead before you visit.
As a rough guide, expect to spend about $40–$70 a head at a Japanese restaurant like this. The neighbourhood is a busy food area – there are at least 10 other places to eat within a kilometre, so you have plenty of options for drinks before or dessert after.
